The Sims is a weird series.
It’s supposed to be a mimicry of what we do and looks for in real life. However, the gravity of the game goes more than you can imagine. In some cases, the game also lets you perform a task that you probably didn’t know you could do while playing.
Let’s keep reading this article till the end to find out more about it.
Table of Contents
Sims 4: The Unknown Secrets!
I mean, before I tell you about the secrets, let me tell you where you can download the game, first. So, as of now, it’s available on Steam. But, you’ll need to pay money to get it.
So, if you’re a broke dude like me, I’ll ask you to visit a torrent site like the pirate bay and get what you’re looking for. There’s no need to offer money or anything. It’s free!
The Unbeknownst Fact – 1: Exploring The Sylvan Glade.
While visiting the Foundry Cove in Willow Creek, you probably have seen a Sylvan Tree at least once or twice already. But, did you know that it’s the key to reaching a beautiful oasis?
For that, all you need to do is water the tree consecutively three times. And, after that, a small portal will open in front of you and let you enter the Sylvan Glade.
The Unbeknownst Fact – 2: Finding The Death Flower.
The death flower has been available in the franchise since The Sims 3. However, many peeps still don’t have much of an idea about this easter egg.
In essence, the flower can only be obtained by someone who has a level five gardening skill. However, if you can get one, you’ll be able to resurrect almost anyone who’s died.
The Unbeknownst Fact – 3: Obsession For Grilled Cheese.
If you make your Sim eat three munches of grilled cheese, they’ll become totally obsessed with the food. After that, all they’re going to think about is the delicacy.
When they’re talking to someone, you’ll also get the option to converse about grilled cheese with them. However, I’ll ask you not to do this, as it might make the game boring later on.
The Unbeknownst Fact – 4: Go To An Alien Planet.
If you have the “Get To Work” expansion of the game, you can literally leave your home and visit an alien planet. And, no, I’m not kidding.
If you have reached the top of your scientist career and have the Rocket Science skill at level 10, you can upgrade your rocket with a wormhole generator. And, that’s the key!
The Unbeknownst Fact – 5: Living The Vampire Life.
As a life simulator game, you can become whatever you want in The Sims. And, that includes a vampire as well. Yes, I’m being honest here.
You can create them from the “Create A Sim” feature and you can choose the types of fangs you want. But, beware – you won’t be able to get out in the sunlight anymore.
The Unbeknownst Fact – 6: The Windenburg Sea Monster.
The Sims have always paid a homage or two to the urban legend culture. And, the brand new version of the franchise doesn’t disappoint in this aspect at all.
If you go to the Windenburg River, you’ll find a huge sea monster hanging out all by himself there. You cannot interact with it, but it’s still a cool easter egg I love about the game.
The Unbeknownst Fact – 7: Checking Out The Hermit.
If you have gotten the rank of “outdoor enthusiast” and venture forth into deep woods, you’ll be able to find the hermit. And, you can learn loads of things from them too.
However, seemingly, their main purpose is to hang out there all alone and relax. They might get a little startled when you visit them for the first time. But, that’s that, really.
